In Canada, provinces, territories and federal authorities issue certificates of qualification in the skilled trades. To get a certificate, the provincial, territorial or federal authority must assess your training, trade experience and skills to decide if you are eligible to write an exam to be certified. We have technologically advanced labs and shops to give you the best hands-on skilled trades training possible to prepare you for your future professional environment. Our two campuses offering gas technician training in Ontario are located close to the QEW for quick and easy access. The Skills Ontario Competition offers a unique opportunity for top students to demonstrate that they are the best of the best in their field. Over the two and a half days, they turn the heads of their educators, family, friends and prospective employers. Skilled Trades College was established to provide individuals with the hands-on skills and knowledge required to begin a career in the skilled trades industry. THEORY AND FUNDAMENTALS Our programs offer theory, safety knowledge, and the necessary hands-on practice to begin an apprenticeship in the skilled trades.
